I am calling this sermon, “A Just Protest.” And I’m preaching this sermon because my conscience has been troubled? You may rightly ask, “Why is your conscience troubled?” and, “What makes you think that your protest is just?” Or, “Just what are you protesting anyway?” Because we Americans have witnessed a whole lot of protests in the last several years, and they are certainly not all just. But they all are troubling. Whether just or unjust. Because they all upset the status quo of the quiet conscience. Well, I believe God’s word will challenge and awaken your quiet conscience; and His word will guide your troubled conscience. My sermon is based on Hebrews 10:16, where God says, “This is the covenant that I will make with them… I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.” If you’re even slightly interested in what God says here, then consider this challenge and listen to the sermon.
