Sermon by Dean Read Luke 1:26-38 & Isaiah 7:9-14 What does this prophecy have to do with us? What can it teach us about God? What can it teach us about character? And how should we respond to it today? Pastor Read looks into the two people to whom this prophecy was given. Separated by 700 years, one was a wicked king, the other a young peasant woman, a virgin. He was Ahaz, King of Judah, living in Jerusalem where the temple of the Lord was. And, she was Mary a humble young peasant woman, living far to the north, in Nazareth.
